Have you ever had a worship experience?
From the moment I was introduced to all that is Stoneymae I have been excited, inspired, and astounded by the God-given talent that infuses the spirits of these two young ladies and have found myself constantly in worship mode when I experience them. I've had the distinct blessing of personally witnessing them premiere their CDs to family and friends, defy all odds and give a critically acclaimed performance at the world famous Cotton Club and most recently, in my humble opinion, give their best presentation to date at Fordham Evangelical Church.
Witnessing Cheryl and JaVonne uplift the audience with their superb stage presence and energy along with their mellifluous harmony over the new addition of both an ensemble and full band is a wonder to behold! You cannot help but to participate in this show - I oscillated between rapt attention and palm-stinging clapping and singing. Even a die-hard agnostic would find Joy in their soul after partying through 'Who Dat', reveling in God's love during 'How Great Thou Art', and being brought to tears witnessing Cheryl's ultimate altruistic gift of 'Safety'.
If you don't have the CD, purchase it - if you don't have Jesus, purpose it! Either way, Cheryl and JaVonne are the perfect accompaniment come what may - their journey is a pleasure to behold.

What can I say...??? LOTS! Smiles.....I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to fellowship in person with Javonne, Cheryl and the church family..... The band was amazing..the choir was too...and the two of you are exceptional!
Jesus Christ is my Lord & Savior and I am an unofficial member of any and all church families and/or places of worship here and around the world where JESUS CHRIST is lifted up !
SO my church family members [at the Cotton Club July 19, 2008] are the most beautiful, soulful, stylish, fabulous exciting mix of brothers and SISTERS IN CHRIST JESUS that I have had the pleasure to jam, groove, dance, clap, sing and Praise God with on a hot Saturday night in July Glory to God! I was searching CD BABY for House gospel music when your cd appeared EXCELLENT.....I just like you Javonne ~ adore Kirk Franklins music....like you, I was so impressed and always thrilled when I hear Kirk take a secular song /music and/or melody and add spiritual, uplifting God edifying, glorifying Christ filled lyrics.......In fact, one of my ultimate dreams is to have a spiritual version to all secular songs~ [RAP, HOUSE, CONTEMPORARY, TOP TEN, JAZZ {all genres} ] ~ ... especially the ones that we may like to dance, sing and groove too...... I guess I have to pay someone to allow usage of their melodies etc. ....while we add our God glorifying lyrics directly to the outstanding beats etc. ! Then we can continue to be like King David...Dancing before the Lord Jesus Christ our King of Kings ~ Lord and Savior~ the Risen One~ with all OUR MIGHT! Amen.

I want to thank you and Cheryl for the awesomeness you have accomplished. This CD is powerful. I literally cried on Where Is God in Your Life. It is truly a blessing. I thank you again. If possible, I would like 1 more CD of We Are Here...To Praise The Lord and 5 copies of your House CD. I will be in service on Sunday to purchase them. I have 4 important people in my life that I plan on giving these CD's to as gifts. I know that they will be touched like I have been. Thank you for stepping out on faith.

Each evening on my way home to New Jersey I listen to and am delighted by your album. Each night I promise myself that I must call you to tell you. (That's usually around 12:00 midnight when I am getting home.) Then, the next day, like today, I rev up at 6:30 AM and it's off to the races until around now, close to 8:00 PM, when I can't reach you.
So here it is: Your voice is amazing! The compositions are great!
WOW, I am really impressed and wonder why you didn't sign a major record deal 15 year ago.
